"BOMB" December 3, 2007 This album is gansta! It's not made for casual hip hop fans. The content illustrates the realm of a Compton gang member. It captures an american hustlers' unapologetic immediacy. The material is boisterous and raw. Hard core rappers have a preocupation with being the top "Gangster" in rap music. The Game achieves this purpose admirably. Still his tone is disdainfully proud. It's a great casual album.
anotha banger July 31, 2007 as always games does it again, just get it,and save me telling yous all how good it is.........
The Game - Untold Story May 26, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Album came out before Game was in the Aftermath and spittin with all the people he does now. He sounds a lot different than he does on his new sh*t or different than he does on his "Documentary" album. Let me explain my thoughts on this album.
The lyrics, The Game raps about the same stuff that he does pretty much now. He isnt the only one that raps on the album. Theres other underground cats that spit on the album that got some decent verses here and there. But Game shows what he wants and spits his sh*t quite well. But I think hes better now. But if your a true Game fan you need to check his style on this one.
Production wise, I think that the production on here was better than "Documentary". Well maybe not better but I like it more. They sound more West Coast and there is alot more bangers. "Documentary" almost sounded East Coast, lmao. This album definately more West Coast vibes to it. So if you like that West sound, this album comes with it. But every beat gots potential in it.
Overall, a pretty good release from The Game. I'd rather listen to this than the Documentary though.

Sorry Game But Your Style Ain't Gangsta ! March 3, 2006 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Jt The Bigga Figga has released a compilation of some past Game Tracks, and i must say that it is very bad, you can really notice how bad Game's style was back then, i only recommend this for diehard Game fans!
by the way he is NOT gonna "save" the westcoast, his poor efforts of trying to ruin 50's reputation prove how bad and immature and desperate Game really is...
to all those who are interested in Game, he is actually releasing an album soon ! "The Dr's Advocate" i think it was gonna be called.
Good Cd... better than I expected February 27, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This underground album is a solid release. There are only 4 songs that aren't good, one being a good song with a terrible chorus (see Don't Cry). The best songs are Compton 2 Fillmore, G.A.M.E., Cali Boyz & Compton Compton. Every song after G.A.M.E. is a solid track worth at least 4/5. He really puts it down here for the west coast and it would have been better without so many featured artists (the only good ones are JT Young Noble & Blue Chip). Definately pick this up if you like his newer stuff otherwise get that first.
