 Straight No Chaser - Holiday Spirits January 9, 2009
Amazing a cappella voices. A nice mix of traditional songs along with some I've never heard. Very funny take on 'The 12 Days of Christmas'. This CD makes a nice addition to my holiday favorites.
Great Holiday Tunes! January 8, 2009
I was one of the lucky folks to see the Straight No Chaser 12 Days of Christmas performance from 1997 shortly after it was put on youtube in late 2007. I was ecstatic to discover the original ensemble had reunited and made a cd. With so many standard tunes out there, I loved hearing the fresh twist Straight No Chaser put on every song they did. This a unique, must-have addition to any Christmas music library!

This CD put a smile on my face for the holidays! Even some of the songs that you get tired of hearing all season long are enjoyable. Twelve Days of Christmas and Indiana Christmas are my personal favorites. I look foward to finding more of Straight No Chaser's music!

These guys are great! The harmonies are tight and melodic. This is my new favorite Christmas CD!
A Wonderful Holiday Addition January 7, 2009
There may not be any new holiday tunes on this CD, but the old standbys are approached with wonderful freshness. The fellows who comprise Straight No Chaser invoke the musical savvy and discipline of such established groups as Chanticleer out of San Francisco, with perhaps a touch more tongue-in-cheek--check out their rendition of The Twelve Days of Christmas. Holiday Spirits makes a superb addition to any holiday musical library.
