Who thought Rhapsody was a good idea? January 10, 2009 When I first bought the Sansa, I was under the impression that I would be able to use Windows Media Player to transfer files to my little player. I was wrong. Now, the only way you can get anything to work with the Sansa Fuze is to download Rhapsody. So OK, I finally had it installed (two hours later) and it worked great for a month!! I was able to download my music that was already on my computer to the Sansa Fuze. However, now every time I turn on my mp3 player I get a note "Your subscription tracks have expired. Connect to your PC..." I've never purchased anything using Rhapsody To Go, in fact I called to cancel my account the following day after the inital download. I've been trying to figure out what I need to remove this annoying subscription note. This has taken far too much time and way too much frustration, and thanks to Rhapsody I will be returning this product to Amazon.
Well worth the money January 9, 2009 Disclaimer: I'm not a connoisseur of MP3 players, and I only use mine for music, not photos/videos. That said, I'm very pleased with the Fuze, which I acquired for its increased capacity (I've been using a Cowon iAudio). The screen is quite bright and very readable in all lighting situations. It smudges easily, but that's to be expected. The controls are very intuitive, and for the most part easy to use. The one minor problem is that on-off slider, which is small enough that you can't really use it with gloves on. (Michigan ... winter ... 'nuff said?) Sound quality is fine. I play mine in the car, with a direct connection to the stereo, so I can't speak to the quality of the earbuds. Battery life is excellent. I've only had it a month, so I don't know about durability. As far as I'm concerned, it's well worth the money.
DOA..dead on arrival January 9, 2009 purchased this item from amazon.com....when it arrived it did not work...sent it back to the seller and have not received a new one yet...been 3 weeks
Grandma's getaway January 7, 2009 In looking for an escape from my husband listening to news on the radio in the car, and the noise of the games from my grandchildren, I found the Sansa Fuse. It's slim, compact, nearly weightless design is great. I did read the instructions! and with practice (at my age) it is very easy to use. I may never fill it up but it's a great getaway with MY music and an easy way to carry around pictures of my family.
good for the price January 7, 2009 The Fuze is just as good as a Ipod but a lot cheaper. The only complaint is the hold switch is hard to use when its in a case.
