Great case January 8, 2009 This is a great and compact case for my Garmin 760. Nice fit for the GPS and the DC power cable.
Never received January 6, 2009 I purchased this item for a Christmas presents. I never received it. I contacted the company a few times with no response. Not very happy.
Inadequate for the advertised purpose January 6, 2009 This is a really nice case, and if you use your 4.3" Garmin Nuvi or similarly-shaped GPS stand-alone (i.e. running on battery and not mounted anywhere) it will protect it adequately. For any other purpose it's inadequate. Too big for the Nuvi alone, it's far too small to hold the GPS and its associated power supply/mounting device.
Even if you leave those items in your car, inviting a break-in, you'll give your GPS better protection by buying a less expensive case fitted to it.
Too bad TomTom doesn't use this December 29, 2008 Once upon a time TomTom included cases with its GPS devices. Not with the GO x30 series. So I bought this for my brand-new GO 730. The GPS device easily fits into the case. It's not a snug fit, actually rather loose. However, the case is firm (although I wouldn't try sitting on it), about 1.75" thick, and comes with a carrying strap and a microfiber cleaning cloth. There's a little mesh pocket inside where you can put the cleaning cloth and maybe your parking garage ticket if you're so inclined. You cannot store the car charger in the case so leave that in the car out of sight. The case does not open flat - more like 45 degrees which should cause no problem with the thin GPSs that are out there. You can look on the CaseLogic web site (www.caselogic.com) for more info on this case as well as others offered by CaseLogic that may be carried by Amazon.
Awesome Camera Case December 28, 2008 Saw this case at Target in the GPS section and thought it would fit my Nikon S52. Was not quite sure but bought it anyway. Fit perfict ..camera AND extra battery. Can't say enough for the sale price of $15. Feels like a piece of luggage: strong and sturdy. Love it for its non-intended purpose. A muti-tasker...
