 Great while they lasted.. December 29, 2008
Well, they sounded great while they lasted.. Which was less than two months. Left earbud stopped working after about 20 hours of use. Too bad too, thought they were comfy and sounded decent. Don't think I can justify buying another pair after reading all of the other comments with the same problem. There is an obvious defect with this product.
 Dead after 8 months November 22, 2008
I bought these in March as a gift for my wife. It is now November and the right channel is dead. I paid $108 including tax for these at the Apple store so they are sold "as is" which means i am SOL.
For $100 i'd expect headphones to last longer than 8 months. I will not be buying another pair of these crappy earphones.
VERY good earbuds so far..... August 12, 2008
I just got them today, plugged them into my laptop to play an orchestral piece. It was a bit bass heavy for my taste. The Shure E2 was a lot clearer for my taste when listening to classical. Now, I'm sure if I used them on my iPod and change the EQ settings I probably can get the sound I want. But the box did say that it's bass heavy, so maybe not.
Aside from my own preference these earbuds are great. I'm sure listening to other styles would be awesome. I'll write a review again when I use it on the train listening to jazz, hiphop, rock and bluegrass.
I just a review that it needs time to break in, so the sound may be different after 2 days.

These earbuds sound SOOOO good that I have trouble listening to any other source of music!!! since getting them, I have had to update the system in my truck to remotely sound even close to how good these sound! So, be ready to get spoiled and then get ready to upgrade everything else!

While the sound on these was decent, the durability was poor. Within a short time of normal use, the wires came loose from the earpiece. The set was ruined. I had to throw them away. I will not purchase V-MODA products again.
