at first i really like to have one now i got it, its not really useful for me,most of the times its really statickyy that it annoys you, mostly in urban areas.
just get a speaker that plug and play in the house or in the office its better that way with good reception.

Very Good product, tried similar cheaper FM transmitters but don't waste your time. They don't work and most don't let you choose the channel to transmit over, they have 3-4 preset you must choose from which is No good in my area, the locals still overide. This transmits clear unless you get really close to a local transmiter but then you can just tune to another station.......

I have to rate this a 2 on a scale of 1-10. I needed this device for my new 2008 Porsche. I heard and read good things so I gave it a try. Bottom line, it is very low quality for sound. I have a major sound system in my Porsche. The sound quality through this device sounds like two cans and a wire in between. By the way I also screamed at Porsche for not having an AUX plug in for Ipods. Porsche has made this a standard feature in 09 models. So if you need to have a IPOD hookup and your use to top quality sound. This will be a major let down.
If it was not such a bother, I would return it.

This cable is great. Lots of power, blocks out FM signals so your IPOD sounds really crisp and clear. Charges the IPOD too so you can listen in your car and then take it with you and have full power after that. Beach Audio, an Amazon seller has it for 30 bucks and ships fasts. I ordered on Sunday night and got it Thursday(California to Chicago). I live in an area where most FM frequencies pick up some kind of signal and I have no problems with interference. I have not used in a downtown area.
