Works great December 27, 2008
I'm a big fan of these ZipLinq spooled cables for travel. Although I haven't had any trouble with my Ethernet or RJ-45 versions, I was a little hesitant to get a firewire version. I just didn't expect it to be able to handle DV capture. But it works just fine for pulling HDV off my video camera into Vegas. No dropped frames. Great for video editing on the go.
