Powered by the renowned MOSFET 50W x 4 amplifier, the DEH-2000MP will play almost all of your music collection, including MP3, WMA and WAV files.  NOT AS ADVERTISED- does NOT have RDS December 4, 2008

When I purchased this car stereo I had a very specific list of features it HAD to have. Did hours of research to find just the right one that had everything I was looking for. Thought this was the one, and ordered it. PAID $$$$ to have it installed, only to find out that it DOES NOT have RDS!!! (Radio Data System) Called Pioneer to double check, and they said that NONE of their car stereo products have EVER had RDS. So whoever put the product info on amazon.com is a real dummy. The stereo seemed ok, except for that. But now I either have to pay MORE $$$ to uninstall and then reinstall a different one- we are talking a hundred+ dollars here- or be unsatisfied with what I have, because amazon has false advertising on their site. So....if you are looking for a stereo WITH RDS- do not buy this one!!!

Great sound. Easy to use and was easy to install. Pioneer makes a quality unit and its hard to believe it came with a remote control. Would definately purchase this item again!

Purchased to install in a 94 toyota Corolla. Physically installed easy. Unscrewed the old player and used the same screws and location to install the new receiver. Electrical was a little tricky because all the wires. You will need a wiring guide to go from the car to to the receiver. Good receiver for price.

I am not too fan in getting fancy car radios with DVD players, screens and stuff. For me, a simple radio is more than enough.
Specially this one, has everything I need. Has a WMA/MP3 CD player and an AUX-IN so you can plug your own mp3 player. FYI, the AUX-IN port uses a 1/8 jack, so you can plug any MP3 player with a standard headphone jack, just get a 3.5mm stereo cable and you are good to go!
Very user-friendly configuration for its settings also. You dont have to struggle to get your EQ the way you want, as well as clock for example.
I strongly recommend this Car Stereo!

Everything about this unit has been great. I put it in my 98 Rav4 with no problem and the electrical diagram help a lot. For the price, this unit is hard to beat.
