very sturdy November 4, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I like this backpack. There is plenty of room for all of my stuff, though I admit, I didn't think it would fit when I first looked at the bag (meaning it has an outwardly small appearance). The straps are all thick and sturdy, with ample stitching; I don't think I will ever have a problem with them. The free ends of the straps have little plastic anti-fray things, rather than just the usual fold-and-sew a few times. The zippers are equally robust. There are compartments and pockets all over, including a laptop sleeve, two water bottle holders, a proper pen/pencil/calculator compartment, and so on...plenty of room for anything. It sits nicely on my shoulders without digging into them, no matter how much weight is in the bag. The part of the bag that is in contact with your back when you wear it has little padded nubs to keep the backpack a little off your back so you dont get major sweat patterns on your shirt when the weather is warm.
The single thing I don't like about the bag is the little rubber things or cloth patches that say "this loop is for sunglasses" or "this is for your mp3 player". Note, the bag has a small hole that you can feed your headphones through so the mp3 player can stay inside the bag- this leaked a tiny bit when I got caught in the rain, but not too bad. Nothing got ruined.
Anyway, this is an awesome bag. I would recommend it to anyone.
Great Product so far October 25, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Plenty of compartments. Each one has ample room.
It has a media pocket with a headphone slit in the fabric for easy listening while backpacking.
The design and construction seem to be extremely sturdy although I have only had it for several weeks.
Very good product so far.
