Amazon.com Product Description If you're taking a road trip, the Zune Car Pack gives you everything you need to be your own DJ, listening to your music through your car stereo while keeping your Zune charged. This device transmits music from your Zune into an FM frequency that can be picked up by your radio tuner. You can automatically select an optimal station for broadcast using the auto-tuning Zune FM Transmitter. It often takes more than one station to stay tuned in if you drive between different regions with different stations, that's why the Zune FM Transmitter has two presets so you can easily swap back and forth between your most commonly used broadcast stations. To keep up with a long road trip, you can charge your Zune while listening to music in the car. The magnetic storage clip allows you to keep wires out of your way, and the dashboard grip pad provides a great place to rest your device in the car. It is compatible with the Zune 4 GB, Zune 8 GB, Zune 30 GB, and Zune 80 GB. What's in the Box: FM transmitter/charger, dashboard grip pad, product quick start guide, product manual.

Disappointed January 6, 2009 The adaptor that we received didn't settle on any station "automatically", and even after a store exchange it will work about 25% of the time. Not a good investment!
Average Sound Quality January 4, 2009 Purchased this item from Amazon for $26.42, that's the good part. Followed everyone's advice about NOT turning the radio on until this device had found an adequate signal. Not impressed with sound quality, may be do the fact the car antenna is located on the rear fender, a substantial distance from this unit. Regular radio sounds much better. Would recommend purchasing car stereo with USB or RCA input if you're looking for quality sound.
WORKS GREAT!!! December 29, 2008 I plugged mine in and works perfectly. Although I highly recomend to remove your car antena, this will reduce the signals coming in to your car stereo and will make it work perfect, no static. Besides your zune has radio so that shouldnt be a problem. I rarely listen to the radio so work perfectly for me.
Zune Car Pack December 28, 2008 This is so easy to use, it seriously takes like all of five seconds to set this up and start listening to some tunes. The sound is great and clear.
Worked for me... December 24, 2008 I am an average Joe who enjoys a fun gadget periodically. I am somewhat mechanically inclined. I have been a Zune man for about a year now and have just upgraded from the Zune Car Pack v1. I was reluctant due to the negative reviews, but decided to take the risk. I thought v1 had poor sound quality, poor FM transmission, and poor design. Zune Car Pack v2 is very different though. It is what I expected from the first car pack. Here is my experience:
1. It sounds like you are listening to a solid radio station.
2. It has 2 presets (This is the best improvement in my opinion). You can save your best FM channels to be able to toggle between them quickly as you drive through interference.
3. It has straight cords rather than a coil cord.
4. The transmitter magnets to the cigarette lighter plug.
5. The dashboard grip pad is necessary for me (I always wondered why the first one did not come with something like this).
6. The autoseek works very well (much better than v1).
I wish this FM transmitter would dock the zune on the cigarette lighter like some third party ones so that you could more easily navigate the Zune, but all in all, a very good product.
