My husband travels ALOT so this is perfect for him! He lost his first player because it is sooo small and was just in a little velvet bag. This makes it much easier to keep track of and keeps the little head phones safe as well.
More than your money's worth December 24, 2008
I got this 5-piece travel kit just for the main case, I promptly gave the leather sheathe to my girlfriend who likes it a lot. I use the case to store the cord so I can use my player as a flash drive wherever I go. It works great and is a good size to fit in my coat pocket.
Another useful feature is that you can cut slits into the foam interior to use as storage for more micro-sd cards. You could fit maybe a dozen in this way if you wanted to. (I had been looking for a good MicroSD card case and hadn't found anything, now I'm no longer looking)
Pros:
The lanyard it comes with is high quality
The screen protector is easy to put on and doesn't slip off too easily
Both cases are high quality and durable
The cloth it comes with actually works very well
Cons:
With the USB cable and the headphones in the main case it's a bit of a squeeze but it closes and I'm glad it keeps the form factor down.
I don't think the MP3 player inside the leather sheathe will fit inside the main case... so it's a little less useful if you only want to use one or the other.

Great travel case October 14, 2008
Purchased for my wife and she says "awesome little case"! Will hold everything you need - player, usb cable, earphones and micro sd card. The soft case for the Sansa e-280 fits the player snug (which is good) and the player w/the softcase on, fits nicely into the hard travel case. The sd card, earphones and usb cable all fit into the inside mesh pocket of the hard case creating somewhat of a snug fit but, case will zipper close. All in all, would recommend.

This not only makes a secure and easily accessible case for traveling, it is a great everyday storage for all of your wires and your MP3 player itself. It was just what I was looking for ! The case for protecting your player while you are using it was a great "extra" to this 5 piece carrying ensemble.
